The Faculty of Economics and Business at the Sam Ratulangi University (FEB-UNSRAT) was established on 14 September 1965. As one of eleven faculties within Sam Ratulangi University, FEB-UNSRAT offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs within the fields of Economics, Management, and Accounting. FEB-UNSRAT provides all higher education programs. These are bachelors, masters (MM, MIE, MAKSI), doctoral (PDIM) and professional (PPAK) degree programs. It is also the only faculty in UNSRAT that has accreditation “A” from BAN-PT for all study programs at the bachelor level. FEB-UNSRAT is also registered with ABEST21. Indonesian Finance Association (IFA)

The Indonesian Finance Association (IFA) is a non-profit organization established to build a strong network between academicians, business environment, and financial experts in indonesia especially in the field of corporate finance, capital markets as well as banking and financial institutions. In addition, this organization is aimed at improving the quality and quantity of research in finance and banking of Indonesian scholars and practitioners. Moreover, policy recommendations, based on research, to the financial regulators are also expected to provide. The establishment of IFA was initiated by three reputable schools which are the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI), the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), and the Faculty of Economics and Business ff Universitas Sebelas Maret (FEB UNS). The current President of IFA is Prof. Dr. Irwan Adi Eka Putra (FEB UI), while the current chairman of steering committee is professor Eduardus Tandelilin (FEB UGM). The board members of IFA consist of 31 prominent scholars and practitioners in finance. This organization is also supported by 14 international advisors.

Halim Alamsyah*IDIC (LPS) Chairman

After obtaining Bachelor of Economic and Bachelor of Law from Faculty of Economics Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta and Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta respectively, he continued his Master degree at Boston University, United States overseeing Development Economics and obtaining Master of Arts. Then he achieved Doctorate degree on Monetary Economics from Universitas Indonesia.

Mr. Halim Alamsyah started his career as credit analysis staff at Bank Indonesia in 1982. In the next 23 years, he dedicated himself on monetary research and concentrate on regulation, supervisory, and research on banking and financial for recent decade.

He was appointed as BI Deputy Governor on June 1, 2010 with term of office from June 17, 2010 until June 17, 2015 after occupying director position in a number of BI Directorates. He was appointed as a Member of IFSA Board of Commissioners (BI’s ex officio) on July 18, 2012 for the term of office from July 18, 2012 to July 18, 2015.

He was appointed by the President as Chairman of IDIC on September 24, 2016 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 158/M/2015 dated September 21, 2015.
